So far, so good
The weekend got off to a great start. Saturday saw the arrival of over 60 prospective students. With so many students traveling from places as far away as Arizona, California, Connecticut, and Texas, Nick Collins and his team of student volunteers did a masterful job of coordinating transportation to and from the airport.
After taking in the social life on Saturday night, students attended an alumni panel on Sunday afternoon. I'd like to thank our panel moderator Terrence Butler '96 and our panelists Daryl Johnson '82, Cleo Washington '85, Anthony Mimms '95, Mark Cevallos '99, and Adan Garcia '04.
Tonight, Unidos por Sangre and the men of the Malcolm X institute will host dinners at Trippet and Detchon Halls, respectively and we'll bring everyone together for pizza later tonight in the Great Hall of Sparks Center.
Monday's it's off to class for our A.A.H.L. visitors and the start of our Top 20 Visit Day which will bring 120 additional students to campus. So far, so good.
