New Face in Admissions
Chip Timmons - On July 3, the Admissions Office welcomed Marc Welch '99 to our team. Marc returns to Wabash after teaching Spanish at Crawfordsville High School for the past five years and he also taught at Beech Grove High School for two years prior to his arrival at CHS. Marc and his wife Kelli live in Crawfordsville with their daughter Madison who just turned two years old a few months ago.
Marc's recruitment territory will include Tippecanoe county and thirty-four other counties in southern and east-central Indiana. Rather than list all of them here, you can view the entire list at www.wabash.edu/admissions/visit/counselor. Marc also has some territory outside of Indiana including the states of Alaska, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
With Marc's arrival, other recruitment territories have changed a bit. Rudy Cope will remain our counselor for the Greater Evansville area (Gibson, Posey, Vanderburgh, and Warrick counties), but will now cover the states of Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin, and the west suburbs of Chicago. The final territory changes brings Steve Klein back to the north suburbs of Chicago.
Marc's busy with training this week and next, but once he gets settled, we'll tell you more about our newest counselor.
