Damon Howell -Here we go again. On the road…uncertain responses…fresh, new start, all the things that comes with getting back on the road. 

With my travel season beginning, a range of emotions comes over me as I approach my first school of the year.  Did I remember all the updates?  Do I have everything?  Did this counselor send in the recommendations for Top 10?  Will there be anyone here to see me?  Ah, yes, the joys of travel and the things we have to do.

In the end, a good day: 3 high schools, 11 seniors, and several counselors more educated on Wabash.

Kingsmen… always tough to beat!

During this travel season, my colleagues and I will visit many high schools.  I must say I was really looking forward to the Penn High School visit.  I have been in contact with several outstanding students prior to my visit who indicated they would attend.

I was not disappointed. Upon my arrival I was greeted by several bright, young men and believe it or not, one young lady!  Penn has a reputation of being very good both academically and athletically, and from my visit I see why.  It was a great visit and as I look at the rest of my schedule I wonder if I’ll have another visit as good as this one.  The bar has been set let's see who will accept the challenge.
