The Weather is Beautiful. I Wish You Were Here.

Chip Timmons - Come Saturday afternoon, my wish will be granted.  The Admissions Office will host two visit programs this over the course of three days.  The first is our African-American/Hispanic-Latino visit weekend February 17-19 which will bring over 60 students to campus.  Students will start arriving on Saturday afternoon.  Not counting Indiana, we'll have students representing 11 different states. Many of those students live in states that don't see snow very often or at all.  I'll be interested to see their reactions.

I'll never forget the first time one of my classmates from Hawaii encountered snow and I expect similar reactions from some of our visitors.  The weather does leave a little bit to be desired, but hey, it's Indiana.  If you don't like the weather, wait a day.

While our weekend visitors are wrapping up their visit, the Top Twenty Visit Day starts Monday morning.  We have over 100 students registered for that event and several alumni are making their way to campus to lend a hand.

It promises to be an action-packed weekend for the entire campus.  We'll have updates and pictures to share throughout the weekend.  Stay warm!
