Alumni Played a Large Role in Top Ten Program
Chip Timmons - Over 150 students participated in Friday's Top Ten Visit Day and Wabash alumni played key roles throughout the day.
Rich Calacci '91 provided a keynote address at the welcome. After Rich's speech, students and parents attended alumni panels where alumni shared how Wabash prepared them for where they are today. This year's panelists were Scott Benedict '98, Kenyatta Brame '92, Mark Cevallos '99, Matt Gunty '97, Jon Haug '00, Eric Lee '96, Kelly Pfledderer '96, and Maury Raycroft '03. Photos of Friday's panels.
Our panelists represented a small sampling of where a Wabash liberal arts degree can take you ranging from careers in law (we had 3 lawyers one of whom is now an FBI special agent) to health care to information technology.
After the morning's panels, several alumni joined our guests for lunch in Knowling Fieldhouse. Those alumni in attendance were Pete Allen '73, Rick Cavanaugh '76, Tim Craft '00, Mike Douglas '68, Greg Estell '85, Craig Green '59, Bob Minardo '87, Brad Mullendore '68, Jon Pactor '71, Matt Roark '07, Mike Swift '77, and Brad Weaver '90.
The Admissions Office would like to thank all of the alumni volunteers who helped host another successful Top Ten program.
