Music to My Ears
I'm not referring to the sweet tones of Old Wabash that swept across the mall this morning. Instead, I'm referring to a conversation I had with Audra Abney on Tuesday morning. She paid me a visit to let me know that she was "drowning in referrals" and would only be able to work on processing those for the balance of the day. That's music to my ears.
Wabash alumni referred 72 students this week. Of those, 44 were high school seniors. Special recognition goes to Peter Witczak '82 for referring 10 students and superstar Lee Cline '66 for his 12 referrals. Keep up the good work.
There's never a bad time to refer a student to Wabash, but if the student is a high school senior, the best time is now. Our Fall Visit programs get underway tomorrow and the Top Ten Scholarship Visit Day is nearly one month from today. The students you refer today will have plenty of time to get information about these programs and hopefully, make their way to campus.
