If there's a silver lining from the unexpected passings of Mike Bachner and Bill Placher, it would be that some people may have been prompted to schedule an appointment with their doctor to make sure everything's in working order. That's happened to Mike Reidy, and he did it just in time.

Mike underwent quadruple bypass surgery on Thursday morning and according to his wife, Meegan, everything went well.  His recuperation could take eight to ten weeks and he leaves some big shoes to fill.  I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I would guess that Mike's recruited more students to Wabash than the rest of the staff combined.  

While Mike is on leave, Jill Rogers will work with the students from Mike's region.  Currently, Jill is the Pre-Health Advisor and will continue to perform those duties as well.  You can reach Jill at rogersji@wabash.edu.
