The Annual Bed Race

It was everything the pre-race publicity said it would be, and more.  The race consisted of single elimination, two-team races, starting in front of the Lilly Library and racing around the Wabash "oval" to the Entrance abeam Trippet Hall.

The teams seemed pretty well matched horse power-wise and design, like the Sigma Chi entry, really made a difference.  As you can see, the Sigma Chis went with small wheels, and a rear facing "driver".  If you look closely, he was duct-taped into the "car"!
