During the "Just Because" reunion two weeks ago, I caught up with Vic (H'55) and Marion Powell at a round table on Wabash students today led by Dean of Students, Tom Bambrey '68. The Powell's were an essential part of the entire reunion and Vic gave a spirited talk during the reunion's Chapel.

I recall that the Powell's were "just stopping by" Crawfordsville and Wabash when Vic agreed to join the faculty. They fell in love with Wabash and the community and, as they say, the rest is history. Thank goodness it's Wabash history!!!
