Jeff Eaton '85 Has A Winner

Jeff Eaton '85 and his wife Linda own a brew pub in Noblesville, Indiana. The pub is called the Barley Island Brewing Company. The term Barley Island refers...well...go to Jeff's web site, and you'll find out.

Classmate Greg Estell '85 reports that Jeff's company won a bronze medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) this past weekend. The GABF is to the brewing industry as the Oscars are to Hollywood. This is the second GABF medal for Eaton in the past few years.

The award winning brew is BI’s Beastie Barrel Stout, which is brewed at Jeff’s Noblesville brew-pub then aged in exclusively in Buffalo Trace Bourbon whiskey barrels.

So, you know what to do. Jump in the car, drive to Noblesville, and congratulate Jeff and Linda on the award. And, while you're there, sample a brew or two.

Please, always drink responsibly.
