Happy Trails Mona Clouse

The picture shows Mona Clouse at her retirement party as she talks about Wabash and her experiences over the last 22 years with President Pat White.  Think of it this way - Mona started here when only a few of our current students were born! (Yes, she started working here when she was 7!)

Mona's son Lance is a graduate - a member of the Class of 1998.

Mona's been a big contributor in a number of ways to Wabash.  Her efforts during the Campaign for Leadership were real difference makers.  None of her contributions have been more positive or powerful than her enthusiastic and infectious love of life.  Her glass is always more than half full and that has really impacted a number of us who have had the privilege to work here with her.

Mona and Rich are excited to start the next phase of life and that begins in a weeks time with a trip to Florida.  In some ways it won't be the same around here.  In others, though, it will  - no one can walk by the door of her office without a little smile breaking out.  Thats the true meaning of impact in my Funk and Wagnalls.

Mona Clouse has been, and will always be, Some Little Giant.
