PJ Smith '08 - He's Published!

Wabash recent graduate PJ Smith, Class of 2008, just had his firstbook published - Scarlet Saturdays.  Here's PJ's words:

"I grew up in Indianapolis, son of Wabash graduate Paul Steven Smith (ed: Class of 1974). Every fall Saturday growing up was spent on the Wabash campus cheering on the Little Giants at the football games. I lived through all of the classic Monon Bell games from Joe Bevelheimer’s five field goals in 1985 to Chris Ing’s long dive in the snow bowl of 1995, to Jake Knott to Ryan Short to Curt Casper’s “Hail Mary” tipped touchdown pass of 2001. My passion has been for Wabash and the traditions that we cherish in our football program. As a senior I served in the football program as an equipment manager and game filmer. I became a member of the Wabash football family. I have told the story of Wabash football as a member of the program, as we made our run at a third consecutive conference championship. Scarlet Saturdays carries with it the color of Wabash and the lore of Wabash. Scarlet is also the color of passion, passion being the team theme for 2007. Scarlet is also the color of the changing leaves in the autumn that offer a beautiful backdrop for the playing of the game. This is a story of great memories, not just on the field, but memories of friendship, brotherhood, and family, and how we came to be the men we are today."
