A packed end of the work week!

The second half of the week was definitely more interesting than the first. On Wednesday was the day I not only had a test in German, but also had a Lore test later that night on all things Beta. I feel like I did alright on the German test but I did not do so hot on the Lore test at all. Also, on Wednesday was Dr. White from UCLA came to give a speech on the Lincoln Debates because of the upcoming Lincoln Bicentennial. I met Dr. White for lunch, he gave a lecture in my political debate class, and I saw him later that night when he gave a continuation lecture on Lincoln.

On Thursday I had my favorite class Philosophy 109. The class is very interesting because I get to ask about why things are the way they are and answer them the best way that I can. I also like working all my questions in class out loud during discussion. The reading on socrates is very complicated but I will get through it.  Later that night, I and two of my pledge brothers ventured out into the Crawfordsville community to help raise money for MUFFY. Although we only made very little, the fact that we were apart of something larger than us was very reassuring.

Friday was cool because I met a representative from Ohio Northern University School of Law. I thought that talking to a law school representative was cool because it helped me define what type of path I want to take during my undergraduate career. Besides the fact that Friday afternoon is the start of my weekend, I’m happy I have a weekend of enjoyment. My plans for the weekend are not fully finalized but it will consist of helping start the float, some community service, and maybe a trip somewhere.
