Couldn't ask for a better weekend...
This weekend has been one to remember for the more random things that went on. Friday was cool because after classes I went to the Career Center and met with the Dean of Ohio Northern University School of Law. I got many of my questions answered about applying for law school and everything that comes with getting ready. Friday night was cool because there were no study tables or chapel sing practice. My pledge brothers and I went to a few shopping places (where I bought some cool Nike sneakers) and a really cool restaurant. I had the Clam chowder and unfortunately it could not be compared to the chowder of Rhode Island for obvious reasons. After we came back and I stayed up talking for a while about life, and then went straight to bed.

Saturday was one of the most interesting days I had in a very long time. I woke up around 7 am and got ready with four of my other pledge brothers (Charles Niblick, William Powers, and Brien Shelbourne)
for a very long, tiring time to South Bend, Indiana. While on the ride there for the big game I was educated on all things Norte Dame and Indiana for that matter. After driving in circles for a while at Notre Dame we met Mr. & Ms. Powers and their tailgate entourage. I have never in my life experienced anything like it. Tailgating is almost like a sport with all the food, accessories, and cars. While hanging I met so many people from the NDFD bagpipers to some of brothers in the Beta house (German, Hoffman, Starnes). After tailgating I took a nap and then got up to hear Norte Dame beat Purdue. I spent the night relaxing with some friends.
Sunday consisted of us finding our way back to Crawfordsville, doing some lap swim, and studying till the evening time. Tonight is all about starting on our float and everything else that comes with getting ready for homecoming. I can already see this week is going to be a sleep deprived mess. Tune in later on during the week to see my progress.

Hi Andre
I too watched the Notre Dame- Purdue football game from Rhode Island though. I am glad a Rho-dilander is at Wabash, one of my favorite colleges which I visited in 2005. Andre, dont' worry about the chowdah, it will be heah when you come back. I have a question that I hope you will answer: how did you join your fraternity as a freshman? In other words, did you pledge before you arrived to Wabash? I can't remember how the fraternity houses and residence halls work. Many thanks, Claire Law
