Back to Reality
Hectic is all that I can say for this week. After spending my Sunday in Chicago, Monday as usual was the day for me to gauge where I am in all of my classes. For some odd reason it
seems like my freshman tutorial has a larger workload than the rest of the freshman tutorials. Tuesday was the day my second seven page paper was due. In addition to that on Thursday, I have a two page paper due on the Moot Court Final, and I just received a paper description for a ten to twelve page paper due before Thanksgiving. Besides that if I showed you the amount of reading we have done so far, it would astound you. On the bright side it is a very interesting course that probes deep inside the Supreme Court and since I chose this class I should not have anything to gripe about. Also on Tuesday I went to the plagiarism talk in Baxter Hall. I feel that the talk did not teach me anything I did not already know but raised a few questions in my head about the fine lines involved in plagiarism. That Tuesday evening I went to see the Dean on Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. He talked about the many advantages of going to law school in Indy and the new emerging area of sports law. Wednesday is always a good day for me because it marks the middle of the week and time to start planning festivities for the weekend.
