Brighter Day!
The second half of my week (after Wednesday) has been arguably better than the first. Thursdays Chapel although on the interesting topic of the Wabash National Survey the speaker, Prof. Horton, made the topic more appealing. Later that night my pledge brothers and I went to Detchon Hall for our nightly study tables. There I met my German Tutorial tutor Almut Vogel. From about eight to ten we had fun going over the material for Freitags (Fridays in German) test, and learning interesting facts on German living. Friday was a good day for me so far. I did pretty well on two of my English essays from English Composition, and I feel confident in my answers on the German test. In addition to having a pretty cool day I have had the pleasure of seeing perspective Wabash students on campus! Although I was not in their shoes exactly this time last year it is still interesting to see the anticipation and excitement in their eyes 1. From meeting so many new people and 2. From seeing themselves as a potential Wabash man for the next four years.
The weekend will be fun without a doubt. Tonight is the showing for Pineapple Express on the school Mall and I can not wait. Unfortunately I have yet to purchase my ticket home. I am thinking I should do that this weekend before I loose the really cheap airfares.
