Homecoming weekend
This weekend was filled with everything Wabash. Since it was homecoming weekend everyone had to load up on the school sprit and represent their housing units. At the Beta house we began our weekend by working all Friday and into the wee hours of Saturday morning to get our float ready for the competition. After much improvising it is safe to say that we had the best float. Later on the Saturday was the homecoming game against Allegheny College which was as usual a good game in our favor. After the game, back at the Beta house, I found the time to mingle with some of the brothers, and my pledge brothers’ parents, and feast on a hog roast. After eating my fill I took a much needed nap and got ready for a party later on that night. The party that night was a success, because many people showed up especially girls. Sunday was the day I was in the best mood over the
weekend. I spent the early half of the morning talking to my mother and getting her up to speed about all the things going on, on campus. Around one p.m, my pledge brothers and I went to do a little community service. Our project was to paint a garage for our pledge educators’ grandmother. Even though I had a ton of school work looming over my head I still had was able to enjoy myself and get to hang around my closest friends here at Wabash.

Hey, Andre!
Sounds like you are really getting into Wabash! I'm happy to read some genuine happiness and excitement in your blogs!
I hope you will see a covered bridge in fall color as I had discussed with you. I plan to be on campus for the Wooster game on 10/25, so I'll stop by the house if I don't catch you at the game....
Keep up the good work!
