Indy, Indy, Fall break job, Indy, Indy
So, after leaving on Wednesday night with one of my pledge brother John Pennington, we traveled through the rain to Indianapolis to his house. That night after I got acclimated I watched some television and relaxing. The next day I woke up and helped Will Hoffman and a few of the other brothers in the Beta house do some landscaping. After working for about two hours my pledge brother John and I went back home to change then headed out into downtown Indianapolis. We walked from a war memorial to the new Lucas Oil stadium and everywhere in between. After taking a good look around the city we went back to relax some more. That night John and I, with the company of his family went to Union Jack, a restaurant in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis. Broad Ripple reminded me of the Thayer Street area near Brown University back at home. Anyway, there I tried a Tenderloin sandwich. John’s father told me it was what clam chowder is to RI! I finally found the meal of choice of Indiana and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Later that night some of
my other pledge brothers who live in Indy (saying Indy is much cooler) and I made a trip to Blockbuster to get a movie. The next day (Friday) at my pledge brother Billy Powers’ house saw for the first time the movie Super Bad. He was cracking up the entire time but I did not find the movie that funny. The rest of the day involved me getting down to my immense amount of school work I had to work on.
Photos of the day!
