Waiting for the weekend!
The rest of the week has been usual with a few interesting things. On Thursday night I had my swim test for the Wabash Crew (rowing) team. I first had to float for five minutes, swim for 250 meters, and then put on a flotation device while in the water. I had to perform the floating for 5 minutes exercise twice because the first time the pants I was wearing absorbed so much water; it felt like the pants were pulling me downward. Friday was great because of the fact it was Friday. Classes were over till Monday, I finally had a chance to relax, and I didn’t have to worry about any work till Sunday night. That afternoon while walking back to the Beta Theta Pi house from the Fine Arts Center, I saw something oddly familiar. While talking to my mother on Wednesday she told me that the annual New England foliage was in underway. I found it quite interesting that the leaves are turning colors here as well except it is about 85 degrees outside. Highlights for this weekend: Community Service with Habit for Humanity and some much needed rest and relaxation.
