What an exciting weekend (said Sarcastically)

This weekend like most many others so far was bittersweet. On Friday night I had anticipated on having a fun night with my pledge brothers, but we ended up just traveling around Crawfordsville doing nothing much. First we went to dinner at Clovers. After eating we decided to go to Wal-Mart for no apparent reason. Something while walking toward Wal-Mart I noticed the gas price (from the last time I’ve ventured outside of Wabash) fell drastically. I heard prices of 2.80 in Indianapolis. After Wal-Mart, we all went to the local bowling alley but had to leave because there weren’t any open lanes. I spent the rest of the night at the Beta house thinking of thing I could do to make my Friday night worth while. On Saturday all the pledges and some of the brothers woke up early to do community service with Habitat for Humanity. After four hours in the sun helping with things like spreading gravel, making slits in concrete, and shoveling dirt we went back to the house to shower and relax. I spend the rest of the afternoon doing school work. That night was not any different from the night before in the fact that I just hung out and switched desk rooms with some of my other pledge brothers. On Sunday I woke up pretty late and started on more school work, while some of my pledge brothers left to go to the Colts game. The highlight of my day was leaving in the evening before study tables going to the Chinese buffet. Highlights for next week: FALL BREAK!
