This House is a Mess!
This week has started off very messy. On Monday I had time trials at Track practice. I was glad to find out that my 300 meter time was quicker than it was before I left. Later that night the entire Track team had dinner together in the MXI building. I enjoyed the company of my fellow teammates and even learned how to play poker. Back at the Beta house everything under the roof was a mess. Since the seniors who stayed at the house to study for senior comps, moved into their new rooms without the people who had their stuff in
those rooms move out, this made a huge mess. Tuesday was a clean up day. All of the freshman in the Beta house had to be back by 8 A.M. to help clean the entire house all day. Everyone gave a good solid two hours of cleaning then people began to quite even though a lot of cleaning that still needed to be done. The fun part was seeing all of my pledge-brothers again and hearing all of their stories from over break. Today (Wednesday) was the first day of class. Unfortunately for everyone the snow was coming down pretty hard. The cold weather does not help either. I can not wait for track practice this
afternoon because it will be a break from thinking about the reading I have to do for class.
Andrew Swart
Andrew Swart is a very funny fellow. He is committed to making everyone put a smile on their face and does so with excellent levels of success. From Crawfordsville and having attended Crawfordsville High School, Andrew Swart is very connected in the Crawfordsville community, which comes in handy when my pledge-brothers and I want to get away from the house. What is just as cool as Andrew are his parents. Andrew’s Parents let us use their house while we were on our Walk Out which was very convenient considering the close proximity to school. At Crawfordsville High School, Andrew brought his high schools baseball team to win the state championship. Hopefully he will bring that same success to the Wabash College Baseball team.
