And This is How My Weekend Went...
I would be lying if I said that no Wabash man cherishes the weekend. The weekend is the time to do what I want to do during the week but cant, which is to chill out! This weekend in particular was alright since there was a lot more going on than usual. On Saturday I woke up very early around 7:30 AM for a track meet. This meet in particular was at DePauw University, and was our second meet there this indoor season. What was most surprising about this meet was the fact that there were not many people there. In fact since there were about six teams there, the meet moved ahead of schedule and ended early. I always find it funny when I catch people sleeping at track meets (Brian David). I ran four races (400,200, 4x4, and the 4x2) which had me very tired after the meet. In the last race (4x4) coach told us DO NOT let DePauw or Wittenberg beat us, which we certainly did not! After the meet I took a shower and a nap and went over to the Delt house to hang out with my buds Mike, Schabel, and Stank. Besides that the MXI had their Red Velvet party, and a few other fraternities had parties this weekend as well. Later that night I continued my quest to watch as much television as possible (since I don’t get to watch any during the week) by watching the Chappell Show with two of my pledge-brothers. Sunday was school work and laundry day. Around 4PM I went to the gym to exercise a bit to get my mind off of school work. When I got back to the Beta house the Cooking Club made a tasty Argentinean/ German dish. Next week, more work and SPRING BREAK is getting closer!
