Eventful Start to the Week and Body Pains!
This week has been interesting because, spring break is getting closer and closer. Monday, I had class as usual. Track practice was alright, but we did this mat exercise that really made me tired. After practice and dinner I went to the Fine Arts Center to watch the Baldwin Oratorical Competition which had 2 of my classmates from my African American Rhetoric class. Later that night I had a Community Service Committee meeting. We brainstormed better ways to advertise the Football Teams Spaghetti Dinner. On Tuesday I had my African American Rhetoric class in the morning and worked on the Beta website in the
afternoon. At track practice I really began to feel the pain in my right knee. Since my knee is not 100% it really hurt to run on it. Hopefully it gets better before this Saturday’s meet at Depauw University. On Wednesday my Music 105 class was cut a little short because we covered all the material for that day, which was cool. At track practice with my knee still not 100% we ran 5 400m sprints. Wednesday could have been my worst day at track practice. I felt more sluggish than anything else. Wednesday night was the much anticipated Spaghetti Dinner. The turn out was amazing and the Spaghetti was not bad by any means. After the dinner, Wabash hosted a Senior Night basketball game against Wittenberg. The Crawfordsville High School band came out
and played for us, which was a nice touch. Besides the Monon Bell Game, I have never seen Wabash students so riled up and it showed in the final score of the game (68-43). I am not sure if I am looking towards the weekend at this point in the semester. I just want to relax!
