End to a week as usual!
The rest of my week has been business as usual. On Thursday I did my study table session at the MXI, and then I had my Community Service Committee meeting in the library. This meeting was very brief because we now have a set direction were moving in. Our first plan of action is promoting a Spaghetti dinner the football team is hosting in the Allen Center on February the 18th to raise money for a mission trip to Botswana, Africa (come out and support!). Friday was a little more hectic than usual. During the day I met with the German Intern (Almut) to go over the essay I wrote in German. After, I had class from 1-3, and the bus left for the track meet around 3:30pm. So I basically had to rush after my last class back to the Beta house to change and then
over to the Allen Center to get on the bus. The track meet was held at Depauw University. For being our rival school their track facilities didn’t look half bad. The track meet went well. I ran the 400m leg of the DMR (Distance Medley Relay), and the 200m. Although we left Wabash around 3:30pm we did not get back till midnight! This weekend I am anticipating a lot of studying and watching my pledge-father’s tennis match. Before I end this blog entry I was nominated as the New Editor of Beta which is cool because it goes me a position in the house.
