Its Beginning to Look Alot Like...Spring?
Mondays have been really busy for me the past few weeks. Getting over the hump of the beginning of the week is something I’ve really never got use to here in college. On Monday classes were usual. Track practice was something of another sort. Coach Morgan said this was our last hard practice because we only have two more track meets. Later that night after my Community Service Committee meeting of the student Senate, I went to the talk about Wabash College’s financial fitness concerning our endowment. The talk was interesting with the amount of figures and graphs being shown. Around 10PM I had a Chapter meeting at the Beta house which is always interesting. On Tuesday I had my Rhetoric class which was very fun because we
watched an episode of the cartoon The Boondocks. After class I assumed my position as the treasurer of the Philosophy Club by getting the purchase order for pizza for our meeting on Thursday. That afternoon track practice was tough because I had a pool workout. Later that night I went to the Student Senate meeting, which is beginning to get a little annoying due to the amount of bickering we do. Back at the Beta house I found one of my pledge-brothers asleep on a couch (Blake Harris). Later on that night I heard news that PROVIDENCE COLLEGE FRIARS UPSET THE PITTSBERG PANTHERS! If you didn’t know already being from Providence and living in close proximity to Providence College makes me a Friar fan. Wednesday has been an alright day so far. The weather has been unusually forgiving. I had class as usual. What about my
afternoon was my German class was canceled for some strange reason. I took the time to run a few errands. At track practice we did mat runs…enough said! After track I went to the last Six Pack talk put on by the Wabash WAR (Wabash Acts Responsibility) Council. The talk was on drinking responsibility, and I learned a lot about what to do when some has had way too many. The rest of the week looks to be just as busy as the beginning of the week, and as usual I am waiting for the weekend.
