The Weekend is Almost Here!

Then end to my week ended the way that it started, busy. On Thursday had my Rhetoric class in the morning then went to the athletic trainer’s room to help rehab my knee. At this point my knee is not hurting as much when I walk; it is walking down stairs that takes a while. The more I ice and stretch my leg the better it will get. That afternoon I worked on some homework before heading off to track practice. At practice I explained my knee problems to the coach and he reminded me that at this point in the season, no one on the team is 100%. That evening I went to see Dr. Eddie Glaude Jr. speech on Malcolm X as a hero. His speech was interesting although I heard much of what he said earlier that day in my Rhetoric class. Friday was the day I have been waiting for since Sunday night. After my last class of the day, German, I went on to track practice which consisted of stretching out and taking it easy because of the track meet the next day. I decided to get on the elliptical machine and bike a few miles, to warm up my legs. That night after taking an ice bath in the trainer’s room I headed over to the Delt house to visit my good friends Mike, Stank, and Scotland. We watched the Illusionist and Titanic for some reason.  What was funny about Titanic was that we stopped the movie every 10 seconds to analyze the movie which was completely random. This weekend is hopefully good because I have a track meet and finally time to relax.
