Getting back to Wabash!
This weekend has been all about getting home from the south. On Saturday we all left the hotel later around 10 AM and headed on over to the Olivet Baptist church. What is interesting about this church is one of my fellow fraternity brothers, and fellow blogger, Daniel King, call this church home. Although he wasn’t in Memphis to welcome us we were able to get a tour of his church and met his head pastor. After the church visit we loaded up the vans and headed over the bridge in Memphis to Arkansas. The entire day was spent passing fields of nothing and getting into intellectual conversations with Professor Timmerman and Gary James (fellow student). We passed through Arkansas, Missouri, and Illinois before reaching Indiana and getting back to the Eastern Time Zone. I expected at least a
decent amount of people back at the Beta house, but only found a few baseball players. On Sunday I typed up a blog entry, did laundry, and ran for a few miles because the weather was very nice. That evening I had a nice Spaghetti dinner at a friend’s house outside of Crawfordsville. I can not wait for this week because it is college basketball season and my team the University of Connecticut will be NCAA division I champions!
