Blazing Start to This Week!

This week started off to a pretty quick start. Monday night was the Peck Dinner, which I was invited to being I am a member of the Pre-Law Society on campus. The dinner started at 6:30 and I left track practice around 6 PM. I had very little time to take shower and get into my suit for the dinner. While at the dinner I met many different lawyers and professors and partook in interesting conversations about law school. During the dinner I watched my scholarship father and my pledge father go up and receive awards for outstand academics and future legal careers. After the dinner I still had my weekly chapter meeting, which meant I did not get down to my school work till 11PM. Tuesday was a little slower in pace than Monday. I had my African American Rhetoric class, where we watched the rest of the movie Do the Right Thing, which is a very good movie. After class I took a survey with the rest of the track team and the soccer team about general health stuff. That afternoon I hosted a student from Philadelphia. I gave him a walking tour of the entire campus and answered all of his question (which was quite a few). The rest of the day consisted of track practice which was unusual (but still fun) because coach let us get into the pool and take it easy. That night at the Student Senate meeting I made a few budget cuts of my own which saved the student senate 100 dollars. Wednesday was a bright day. The night before I studied very hard for my English test and believe I did pretty good. That afternoon the order I made for new track shoes came through the mail. At track practice that afternoon I tried the new shoes out, and had a pretty decent practice. In the through of studying for tests I have a pretty big one for German on Friday I need to study for and this weekend looks like another track meet.
