Here Comes the Work!

I do not mean to complain but it just seems like it is one of those weeks were the work does not stop, and it seems like everything is due at once! Monday in C&T, I was given a paper that was due the next Monday which was about 4-6 pages. In my Logic class I received news of a test on Friday. On top of that there is always the homework, readings, club meetings, fraternity meetings, track practices and everything else. I find it interesting I am finding less and less time to relax during the school week since I am so bogged down (which is a good thing). To add to my stress this week I had an internship interview on Tuesday in Indianapolis. I had to wake up extra early to get dresses up in a suit and tie, plus drive to Indy by 8:30AM to Bakers and Daniel downtown.  The job interview was for the special events intern position at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum over the summer. The interviewer looked at my resume and mentioned to me that that position might not suit me, which took me by surprised. She then suggested other internships that would be a better fit for me at the Museum which after think about it for a while, seems like a blessing-in-disguise. Since I had that internship interview at 9AM in Indy, I missed my 9:45 classical rhetoric class (which just so happens to be my favorite class). One student (who will remain nameless) decided to put my cell phone number on the board so that after class everyone would txt me asking me why I wasn’t in class, since I am a stickler when it comes to class attendance. Well, his plan backfired since the class has over 20 people and I only got 5 text messages. I hope he has a pretty good excuse since I’m going to be in class on Thursday! Come on weekend!
