GO PATRIOTS!

Have you ever been a fan of a team that is not well liked in the area where you live at? Well, I am a Patriots in Colts country. On Sunday night I went around the Beta house and made fun of people about how the Patriots are killing the Colts. In the fourth quarter I decided to head to the library because I felt the Patriots had the game in the bag. BAD IDEA! At the library I received about 15 text messages from different people making fun of me on how the Patriots chocked in the fourth quarter.  At Monday at lunch I was made fun of because of how the Patriots can’t measure up against the Colts. I dismissed these taunts and continue to eat my lunch…in my room.  On Tuesday, my schedule was really busy. I had Classical Rhetoric in the morning and a bunch of little different things to do before track practice. I left track practice a few minutes early to go to have dinner with my church family the Chalmers! I put the directions in my phone and tried to use the GPS to help me find their house, but on the way there I ended up getting a ride. The Mexican dinner was really great and I even had desert. By the end of dinner I had time to walk back to campus and go to my Student Senate meeting. There is never a shortage of this I could be doing here at Wabash. On Wednesday I had my third day of official track practice. Everyone’s ham strings were hurting from the practice the day before, including mine. At the end of practice we did the dreaded mat runs that take everything out of my legs. Wednesday night Ms. Debbie (our beloved cook) made a Thanksgiving feast for us that was amazing. The highlight of this week so far has definitely been having the bell on campus and hearing it ring from across campus. I could even hear the bell ring from the Chalmers home off campus. Besides the bell I am definitely looking forward to Thanksgiving Break! GO LITTLE GIANTS!
