Krenkin' Things Out ... in Maine!
Yo wassup guys. Hope all of you are enjoying your summers and watching all the Euro 2008 games. For all of you incoming freshmen, I hope you know that you have chosen a college that will hook you up!!! People out in the real world know about Wabash and want to employ Wabash students, and I was able to get hooked up with a dream summer job.
I'm getting to coach soccer for 2 months at a summer camp in Maine. The place is called Camp Skylemar. This place is just like Wabash in a couple of big ways. First of all, all the campers are boys. Second, Skylemar takes care of you, just like Wabash. The food here is amazing and there are multiple soccer, baseball, and lacrosse fields. I've only been at the camp for one day, but I can tell that this summer is going to be an incredible experience. I'm hoping to learn archery and water-skiing. Right now I'm going through the week-long orientation, and the campers arrive later next week. I don't have any pictures to upload to the blog yet, but expect weekly entries from me until Wabash preseason starts.
Once again, congratulations to all the incoming freshmen for choosing Wabash. I'm eager to beat up on some new faces :-) Make sure all of you keep me posted on your summers!
Ya boy,
Christian Krenk, '10
