Summer of Work, Fun, and Learning

Hey guys. Glad to see everyone who has posted is doing well. Summer has been good so far and I am pretty eager to get back. Since Funston got back into town we have been playing together pretty frequently and that's been fun. This weekend Kap, Funston, Josh Pedersen, Josh's brother, a guy named Bojan and I are playing in a 3v3 tourney in Hammond. I think there are like 8 teams in it so wish us luck. Speaking of soccer, Coach G those pictures you took were awesome. It would have been really cool to see a team of that caliber train.

Lately all I've really been doing is working, working out/playing, and helping out around the house. I am living with my cousin in Schererville, IN this summer and on the 18th him and his wife had a baby daughter. She is only like 6lbs. So that puts me in the house with 3 little kids, so there is plenty to do around there. My last day of work is this Thursday so I'm looking forward to that. This internship has taught me a lot though and the company I work for treats us really well. A couple weeks ago they paid for all the interns to go down to Fishers and go golfing for the day. That was a fun time. It turned out the country club we were at was right down the street from Kaps house so I stopped and hung out with him and another pledge brother of ours for a little while.

Like Alan I am also going to my first outdoor concert this year. I'm going with a bunch of friends to see Dave Matthews at the Alpine Valley in Wisconsin. I hear its an amazing show and I am really looking forward to it. One last adventure before I head back to Lafayette and then to school. Well I have watched my episode of South Park for the day and lunch is coming to a close, so I have to end my blog. I really look forward to seeing the returning players and getting to know the new ones. I hope everyone has a great rest of the summer.

P.S. I think Coach Oleck needs to write a blog.
