All Done in KY!!!

My time in KY has come to a swift end!

So, what do I do now... No idea.

Although I was ready to leave KY, I am really glad I did that internship. It was an awesome expreience, and it really gave me some direction about where I wanted to go post-Wabash. At Western Kentucky, I had the opportunity to interact with grad students. I dont know why, but I always thought of grad students as being older and being really, really smart... so smart that I thought that grad students didnt speak regular English, but they spoke a super-smart English that only other grad students could understand.

How wrong I was! I dont know how many times someone mistook me for a grad student. I worked closely with several students, and the work they were doing was not as advanced as I thought it would be. They were learning the same statistics that I learned last year, and I noticed that I was familiar with a lot the material that they were learning in class. After my time in KY, grad school is not nearly as daunting as before. I'm really looking forward to it.

The goal right now is to get into a good clinical program (but that's really hard to get into) or get into a Ph D counseling program. If both of those fail, I want to go into school psychology. I think school psychology would really help me stay involved in my community, and I would get to help kids who need me.

The next thing on the list is my birthday, which is Thursday! I have no idea what my plans are, but I am still thinking about it.

Also, sorry for being so quiet lately. Now that I am done researching, I can blog more frequently... and I will. Especially since I am trying to prepare for Europe.

talk to ya soon!
