Patrick Millikan — Yet Another Honor

Coach Creighton — Congratulations to Pat Millikan on receiving the NCAA Post Graduate Scholarship! What an awesome accomplishment. It has been 25 years since a Wabash football player has won this most prestigious award. Our football program could not be more proud of Pat and all he has accomplished on and off the field in his career here at Wabash.

A team captain who led us to a 19-3 record as an upperclassmen, plus back-to-back NCAC Championships and Monon Bell Classics. Individually, Pat is a two-time first team All-Conference selection, and was named to both the North All Region Academic Team and the All Region Team as as Offensive Lineman. Even more remarkable, Pat has accomplished all of this†while remaining nearly perfect in the classroom over the past four years in preparation of one day becoming a surgeon!

He has done it all and the best part of it all is that Pat is a better person than he is student or athlete! How does someone who possesses so much talent have such genuine humility and sincere concern for other people at the same time? Pat Millikan is a special man.

He has made a major impact on Wabash in his four years on campus; †I cannot wait to see the kind of impact he is going to have on our world when he leaves. Way to go Pat — we are fired up for you.
