Isaac Baker ’12 - Even though I had the opportunity to go to a lot of different colleges and play football, my experience with Wabash football has been one of the best I could imagine.  I could not have gotten the same experience anywhere else.  The type of people I am surrounded by and the opportunity to play Red Squad are two things that I feel have been awesome.

For instance, I am now a member of one of the best Division III football programs in the nation.  I get to practice every day against and with some of the best players in Division III.  That in itself has made me step my game up so much more.  The guys here are not just great players, they are great men.  I do not believe I could have found the same caliber of men at any other of my options.  The bonds that I am forming with my teammates become stronger and stronger every day.  These new friendships are ones that will last a lifetime. 

The Red Squad games are a blast.  Everybody has messed up, but the Red Squad coaches are very good about correcting us.  These games are an excellent way for us to learn and still compete against other teams.   There are not many other schools that have this opportunity and I am fortunate that we do.
