Coach's Corner - "4 in a row"

With a convincing 60-7 win against Oberlin College, we clinched at least a share of the NCAC conference championship. It was the fourth straight NCAC championship for our program, making our seniors the first class to win four conference titles in the history of the NCAC.

Oberlin has been decimated by injuries, so we were definitely the favorites heading into the game. It was senior day so it was fitting that we honored a group of guys that have made such a positive impact on our program. It was an emotional day for the seniors but it did not affect their focus on the game. We scored touchdowns on our first seven possessions and our first team defense pitched a shutout.  By getting off to such a good start, we were able to play a lot of guys and get them some valuable varsity experience.  Hopefully, the experience will serve us well in the future.

Our coaching staff is so thankful for our senior class (pictured above with the trophy). They are extremely talented, possess a tremendous work ethic, and have provided our team with unbelievable leadership. They have set a great example for the rest of the men in our program.

Wabash Always Fights!
