Back to Work
So I have become rather lackadaisical with my blogging over, well, the past month or so. Beginning with Christmas break: it was very relaxing to say the least. I awoke about noon
every day and went to bed no earlier than two every morning. And to be completely honest, I do not feel bad about this - it was a great break after a long semester. I did spend a decent amount of time catching up with my buddies from high school and once again reaffirm that Wabash is a much different environment than any other college in the state.
I arrived back at the house on Sunday to begin initiation at the house. Honestly, this first week was a lot busier than I expected and was filled with a lot of unexpected events. It was good, it was fun and I can call myself a brother, but it did not come without labor. Classes started with a bang including a 2 and a half hour lab on the first day of classes - WOOOH!
Now with my first blog, I dedicate it to another semester of hard work, fun times, Track Season, no girls, owning Michael Nobbe, seeing freshmen on campus, and to the Packer's Super Bowl run -
really, with Dallas losing is it that far-fetched?
O and to the kid that asked about the room with the big table in it that I was studying in, its in Goodrich its like a lecture room/classroom that I locked myself in for like 12 hours a day.

this will be my last blog. i know this will upset many people but it is time for me to spread my wings and move on.
i was asked by a lot of people over break what i plan to do as a future career? i have now figured out what i want to do with my life. I want to be a professional blogger.
one of the most talked about topics while on break was that a certain person in my high school was getting engaged. this got me to thinking about who my friends will be married to in the future.
andy elliott will be married to mandy lane. my guess is that he will take her to rallys one night ( probably sunday or wednesday)and as he is reaching for a french fry he will pull out the ring and ask mandy to be his wife. if thats not romantic then i dont know what is.
dominic fanelli will be married to erika. they will have one child. this kid will have none of dominics personality, work ethic, or athleticism. he will spend most of his time in his room painting things.
mike sobecki will marry ben roethlisbergers ex-girlfriend (just keep living the dream mike)
david neu will marry the manager of barlows pizza. i could tell when i went in there one time that they had a major connection.
danny osburn will marry his roomate at notre dame. he will live happily ever after.
pat warner will marry anna fanelli. they will have five kids that will each participate in the worlds strongest man competitions. they will all be able to leg press over a thousand lbs.
as for me i do not know who i want to be my wifey. theres a certain history teacher out there but i worry that she may be too promiscuous for marriage.

Alex, I would just like to say that your blogs have been an inspiration for me throughout this school year. Everytime I have been down in the dumps I know I can just look at your blog here and I have renewed strength. It is your blogs that have made me want to transfer to Wabash so badly... All I want to know is who is this Jake Ezell kid that keeps posting on your blog.
Rock on,
Pat
