Big Bash

I got to go to my first Big Bash this Saturday. It was actually a lot of fun. As a Sons of Wabash member, we basically socialized with alumni, drove around golf carts transporting alumni, and some other odds and ends. I really do enjoy meeting alumni and hearing there stories about how Wabash was then and what all has change, etc, etc. Sometimes its funny, other times more serious, but either way always a good time and really enjoyable from a students perspective.

I can't quite elaborate what it is, but theres just something special about that place that brings a smile to your face after you have been away for a while. And it wasn't just me, the alumni were all beaming. The image of all of us standing on the chapel steps and singing Old Wabash with all the alumni comes to mind. Even the wives and girlfriends know Wabash is a sacred place.

Hopefully, some day, some time, I'll know just what it is about that place. But, having completed two years, I couldn't be happier and really enjoyed getting to meet up with some alumni.
