KD: Tell me about the Sphinx Club? What made you want to get involved in it?
BH: I guess I am just really into Wabash culture. I like the idea that tradition never dies.

KD: Can you elaborate on the traditions of the Sphinx Club?
BH: More or less, we are a group that upholds the spirit and the traditions of Wabash - trying to bring the campus together in various social/community activities. One of the biggest things we try to do is eliminate the barriers between independents and fraternities for the betterment of campus environment.
KD: Of all the activities the Sphinx Club puts on, which would you say you enjoy the most?
BH: I would say the football/basketball games. We all just get together, run around, cheer, and make the Rhynies do “air raids.”
KD: What is up with the new mohawk hair-do?
BH: Why not?
KD: Did you have any specific inspiration that made you want to cut your hair?
BH: Not really. I needed a haircut, and my Mom kept bugging me about getting it cut, so I figured, why not?
KD: Does your Mom know you’re rockin’ a Mohawk?
BH: Nope, and she doesn’t need to.
KD: What has been the reaction from your peers?
BH: All the girls like it!
KD: Tell me about your infatuation with Avril Lavigne?
BH: She is the most gorgeous girl in the entire world and she is straight punk, which is pretty hot. I like her pink highlights too.
KD: Are you into her music at all, or is she just someone you admire?
BH: I have been to one of her concerts and was supposed to go to another one this past summer, but she had to cancel for some reason.
KD: What do you enjoy most in your free time?
BH: What free time? No, I really enjoy just sitting around the house and engaging in deep, sophisticated conversations/debates—some have lasted as long as ten hours until the sun rises.
KD: What are your topics of discussion typically?
BH: Anything from Zen Buddhism to the Wabash Commentary, Chapel talks, and any/all daily life issues.
KD: Where do you see life after Wabash?
BH: Law School, hoping to get my PhD in Psychology as well.
KD: Why the combination of the two?
BH: Well, psychology goes hand-in-hand with practicing law, and I might want to get into Defense Law. Researching repressed memory cases and eyewitness testimonies in my Psychology classes here at Wabash has really peaked my interests in the two fields.
KD: If you could summarize your experience at Wabash in one word, what would that be?
BH: Family.
