Welcome Freshmen

The moment that everyone has been waiting for since Championships last year has finally arrived; the first day of official practice. All of our guys have done a great job of preparing themselves physically for what is to come this afternoon and I can not wait to see how this first week goes. I thought that a great way to kick off the new season would be to introduce the freshmen that hope to come in and make an immediate impact on this team. First up...

I swam all four years at Jefferson High School in Lafayette, IN. That is when I started swimming competitively. Received awards such as Most Improved Swimmer, Coaches Award, and was captain senior year. Last summer and this past summer I swam for Boilermaker Aquatics through Purdue University. Last summer I also lived in Spain for seven weeks through the IU Honors Program. I Chose Wabash because of Liberal Arts education, good connections, great professors that care of there students, and swimming. I wanted to swim Division III because education has always been more important, and I feel that our program emphasizes the importance of our school work and education. I swim the butter fly and distance freestyle. My goal is to break a record by my sophomore year. I am living in the Lambda Chi Alpha house and love it. All the guys are great and supportive. I am looking forward to my years to come at Wabash.
