Life During Dead Week
It’s the week before finals (“dead week”) and everyone has a ton of junk to do. There are papers to write and exams to study for, and it seems like everyone is busy, busy, busy all of the time. I’ve even managed to keep myself occupied with important things, at the cost of sleep and rest, of course. Yeah, I’ve been keeping pretty busy. For example, I just finished watching The Big Lebowski with Aaron and Josh. Here it is 3:30 in the morning, the three of us hard at work. Now that the movie’s through I guess I’ll start on my ten page paper that’s due tomorrow.
Next week, finals week, is going to be interesting. I don’t have anything planned for Monday, but Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are exam days. Then I have two papers, one long and one short, due Friday afternoon. Hopefully, even with all the movie-watching I’m doing, I’ll be able to do a sufficient amount of studying.
Lucian says about finals week, “I’m not lookin’ forward to it.” Aaron says, “Dead week, even for an art major, is difficult. They should call it rush-to-finish-all-your-stuff-before-you-get-destroyed-by-finals week.” Well, I’m done quoting people, because they don’t have anything cool to say.
I think I’m going to walk around campus tomorrow and take some pictures. Everything looks pretty cool now that spring has finally shown its face. There are pretty flowers. I’ll show you later.

Our world is coming alive! The landscape becomes more beautiful by the minute it seems. There are new leaves coming out and blossoms everywhere. There's the anticipation of the new year's growth. It's nature at it's finest. I love this time of year.
I'm looking forward to seeing Wabash in the spring.
I'm envisioning you walking around taking pictures of the pretty flowers, Michael. Very nice.
Hey, you guys should get out there and plant something new. That's always cool.

Do you know what's even better than a beautiful spring day?
Going out on a beautiful spring day to buy some new music and playing it loud on the way home with the sun shining, the windows down, an ice cold pepsi to quench your thirst, and not a care in the world......atleast for a little while.
I drove home today with Leona Lewis and James Blunt.
They're fantastic!

Why am I commenting for the third time on this entry? I think I may be overcompensating for Seth's absence.
Of course, the other explanation could be that I have some cool news.
Our Golden, Isabelle, is giving birth to her third litter of pups. She had the first pup at 5:00 p.m. and as of this moment she has delivered 11. That's right, Seth, eleven cute and adorable mopey-eyed little icky-poo puppies....and counting.
Isabelle is doing a great job and I thought she deserved a shout-out.

Right, sorry, Kelly, I've been super busy with this and that and all sorts of things. I agree entirely with everything that makes life worth living: spring, sun, pepsi, the Big Lebowski at 3 am...and of course, Isabelle.
p.s. mike, you seriously need to write another blog. schools almost out.
