Three Weeks Remain

I’ve spent a good part of my day today thinking about what little time I have left at Wabash before I get out for the summer.  Three weeks.  Three weeks and my freshman year will be over.  I have two long papers to write, two short papers, several final exams and then I’m out of here.  It’s weird thinking back, because at first it seems like I haven’t been here all that long, but when I really start to think about it I realize I’ve done a lot of stuff this year.  It’s been crazy, all that stuff.  I’ve learned a lot.

Aaron Cantu, my roommate, had this to say about the year: “It’s been a fun and stressful time, but it’s about time it dies.”  I guess that’s all we’re going to get from an Art major.  Wait, he has more to say: “I really enjoyed the pool thing, Mike.  I don’t know what else to say.”  Hmm.  He’s talking about sitting out in our courtyard, in a baby pool, eating burgers and hanging out last Friday.  That’s his fondest memory from this year.  Great.  I wasn’t at the house Friday afternoon.  I’m sorry I missed this wonderful thing, this pool party.

This is a horrible retrospective entry.  I’ll write something more inspiring a couple weeks from now.

Michael,
Good luck with all your end-of-year work.
I've truly enjoyed your writings. Excellent job!
Thanks for letting me tag along. It's been fun.

Aaron,
Hi! It's good to see your wonderfully expressive face again. :)
So, you're an Art major. That's awesome!
By the way, I love the pic of you on the bed race contraption. It's a keeper. (that was you, wasn't it?)

Anyway, I hope you all fare well with exams and have a great summer. Hopefully next year we'll get to continue learning about the Kappa Sigma life (and those that live it) through Michael's very interesting, often comical, always enlightening blog. Seriously, we should be so lucky. And of course none of it would be the same without Seth. You rock Seth! You do.

Thanks Kelly!
