With another strong offensive showing, the Red Team took a 3-2 lead in the Little Giant World Series on Wednesday afternoon.  After fending off early rain showers, sophomore Jake Thomas' (Evanston, IL - Evanston High School) bat once again led the way, while freshman Dan Metz (Kokomo, IN - Northwestern High School) set the pace on the mound for the Red squad.  When the dust settled, the Reds came away with a 6-0 victory.  The final two games of the series are scheduled for Tuesday and Saturday of next week.  Feel free to join the players, coaches, and families for a cookout following the Saturday finale on Homecoming.
