Savannah Nicole Riley...Newest Member of the Wabash Baseball Family!

Congratulations to Scott Riley '04 and his wife Denisa on the birth of Savannah Nicole Riley!  Savannah was born at 12:30am on Tuesday, December 12th in Portage.  She tipped the scales at 9.1 lbs. and measured 21 inches.  Denisa and Savannah will return home today from the hospital.  Scott was a psychology major and member of Phi Delta Theta while at Wabash.  After pitching for three seasons, Scott joined the baseball coaching staff as a student coach and then an assistant coach the following year.  Scott is still active in evaluating baseball talent in Northwest Indiana, as well as attending Wabash recruiting events.  Best wishes to the Riley family with their new addition!

Finals Week

All is quiet on campus as our students hit the books and cram for first semester final exams.  For a good number of our players, this will be the first time they experience finals at the college level.  I feel confident that our guys are up to the challenge.  Similar to any sport, the more prepared you are, the better you will perform.  Just as we preach 'Deserve to Win' on the diamond, the same can be said for the classroom at finals time.  Put in the time and effort, and you will be rewarded.  Best of luck to all Wabash Men as they attempt to finish their courses strong this week!

December 15th Application Deadline!

The Early Action application deadline for admission to Wabash is quickly approaching.  As coaches, we strongly encourage all prospective student-athletes who are being recruited by Wabash to apply by this deadline.  The advantage of applying by the Early Action period is to receive priority over applications received later in the admissions process.  At the same time, you will be considered for all available merit-based scholarships, while receiving notification of your admissions status by January 31st.  For further information regarding Early Action and/or the application process, please refer to our "Future Students" site at www.wabash.edu/admissions/.  You can also apply online at www.wabash.edu/admissions/apply.  With that said, we hope to see your application by the 15th!
