Three year letterman Shaun Rico '08 was recently invited to a closed tryout for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball.  Rico traveled to the east coast early this week to show his stuff for 10 Phillies scouts, in addition to numerous scouts from independent organizations.  Shaun started for three years at first base for the Little Giants while being an NCAC honorable mention selection and Wabash Offensive Player of the Year in 2008.  Best of luck to Shaun in pursuing his professional goals.
