Frederick '12 Leads Post 11 to Regional Championship and Shot at State

photoJust one day after pitching a four-hit, complete game shutout against Muncie in the American Legion baseball Regional semifinals at Loeb Stadium, Logan Frederick '12 (Lafayette, IN - Jefferson H.S.) continued his heroics by hitting a game-changing three-run homerun in the Regional championship game on Sunday.  Fredericks' homer gave Post 11 a lead that would carry them to an 8-7 victory over Muncie and a shot at the American Legion state tournament next weekend.  Incoming freshman Jacob O'Conner '13 (Muncie, IN - Cowan H.S.) competed against Frederick and Post 11 for the Muncie Legion squad.  Follow the links below to read more about Frederick and the American Legion Regional in the Lafayette Journal & Courier.
