Never Before Seen Artwork of Lee Detchon

One hundred twenty-three works of art are currently on display in the shop windows of downtown Crawfordsville as apart of the Crawfordsville Art League's sixth annual Regional Art Exhibit. Several of the artists with pieces in the show are from Wabash, to include Lee Detchon '23. Detchon studied with Montgomery County artist Fritz Schlemmer. Detchon's work has been displayed at the New York Historical Society, the Smithsonian, and the Sprindfield Musem of Art. Detchon's display for the Regional Art Exhibit features paintings never displayed before in public and paintings from the Wabash collection.
