        <![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;</p><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Well spring break is so close I can taste it.&nbsp;All that separates me from the NYC is four midterms and three more days of school.&nbsp;The anticipation is killing me.&nbsp;Rhetoric, Philosophy, English and Math midterms are keeping spring fever from getting to me though.&nbsp;But once that last class is done with the feeling of partial freedom from school will be amazing.&nbsp;</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Tonight I was studying for my Rhetoric midterm in the MXI, but then I was side track by the older members who wanted to play a game of spades.&nbsp;Now I&rsquo;ve never played spades and playing it with four experienced, trash talking upperclassmen is quite the experience.&nbsp;So naturally I sucked at spades since it was my first time, and instead of the game taking fifteen minutes or so, the game took about forty five minutes.&nbsp;&nbsp; And we didn&rsquo;t even finish it; we called the game because after all we were supposed to be studying for midterms.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hopefully I can make it through this week and be off to the Big Apple.&nbsp;For now though I&rsquo;m going to focus on my midterms and save the spades for a little later.</div>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;</p><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Its one week till spring break, I can&rsquo;t believe that we are already half way through second semester.&nbsp;It has been an interesting semester so far mainly because I completed my first college wrestling season and I have almost made it through my first every Indiana winter.&nbsp;All I have to do now is make it through next week and it&rsquo;s Spring Break.&nbsp;I actually am taking a different approach to spring break this year, instead of going someplace warm and with a beach&hellip;I&rsquo;m going to New York.&nbsp;Not exactly a warm spring get away but I&rsquo;ll be visiting some friends from my high school graduating class (they went across the country too, they just ended up in a better city).</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Of course I am going to take lots of pictures and I&rsquo;m hoping they will make a really cool blog entry when I get back from break.&nbsp;Speaking of getting back from break&hellip;once everyone does get back to campus we will be preparing for Honors Scholarship weekend.&nbsp;Now I am excited for this but the main reason behind my excitement is that my mom is going to be on campus for it.&nbsp;She was asked to be on a parent panel for the weekend and I&rsquo;m excited to see her since I haven&rsquo;t seen any family members since Christmas.&nbsp;</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; That is basically all that&rsquo;s going through my head right now, just one more week then its spring break baby!!!&nbsp;</div>]]>

He's devoted most of that time to helping Miami's homeless and poor &mdash; many of whom know him as simply &quot;Dr. Joe.&quot;</span></div><div style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt"><span style="color: #333333">As he recently told his wife, Janus, Greer's career headed in that direction early, when he was serving his internship and working in the intensive care unit of a Miami hospital. One patient was dying of tuberculosis. </span></div><div style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt"><span style="color: #333333">&quot;He had a little wristband that had his name, and it said 'no address,' &quot; Greer remembers. &quot;I knew that this man had, at the very least, parents &mdash; maybe siblings, a spouse. And we went out to try and find his family. </span></div><div style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt"><span style="color: #333333">&quot;And what I saw was a little window into this world of poverty that existed in my backyard, that I didn't even know was there. And then we went out under the bridges, started seeing patients on Tuesday nights.&quot;</span></div><div style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt"><u><span style="color: #333333">&quot;When you first came home to tell me about the homeless,&quot; Janus said, &quot;I was shocked. Because we live in a suburb, and unless you came downtown, you didn't see it. It wasn't a reality.&quot;</span></u></div><div style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt"><span style="color: #333333">The doctor founded the Camillus Health Concern in 1984; the facility currently gives care to thousands of people each year. He also opened the St. John Bosco clinic, which treats low-income and immigrant patients in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood.</span></div><div style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt"><u><span style="color: #333333">&quot;A physician is supposed to take care of everybody,&quot; Greer said. &quot;That's what medicine is. You gotta love people. You have to realize that, no matter how many hours you work in the hospital, you get to go home at night; somebody there doesn't.&quot;</span></u></div><div style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt"><span style="color: #333333">In his career, Greer has advised Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton on health care and poverty. But he can point to one day at the clinic as a defining moment in his career and in his life. He was seeing some patients around lunchtime &mdash; a mother and her children, who had been staying at a Salvation Army shelter.</span></div><div style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt"><span style="color: #333333">&quot;Her youngest son &mdash; I guess, about 6 years old &mdash; had a sweet smile. And I handed him my sandwich,&quot; Greer said. </span></div><div style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt"><span style="color: #333333">&quot;And the kid took the sandwich out of the bag, unwrapped it, broke it in half, took a couple of bites and then stuck it back in the wrapper.         <![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;</p><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">Do you know how to make beer?</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Well if you don&rsquo;t on February 24, 2010 the WAR council and the brew society will be hosting Dr. Bowen and alumni Ben Edquist will take us through the &ldquo;Art of Brewing&rdquo;.&nbsp;The history, the chemistry and the actual process of making beer and root beer will be discussed.&nbsp;And I heard they will hand out beer making kits so we can prepare for the Brewing Competition this coming April.&nbsp;It may be a hard school academically but hey we can teach you all the ins and outs of brewing.&nbsp;Can you really argue with that?</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Since we are speaking of beer, I have a fun fact for you guys&hellip;did you know that in beer commercials you will never see anyone actually take a sip of the beer?&nbsp;Look for it, blows my mind. &nbsp;My good friend who goes to Harvard told me about that, so you know it&rsquo;s true.&nbsp;</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend.</div>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;</p><div style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 10pt">This weekend I finally got off campus, for reasons outside of competing in a wrestling tournament.&nbsp;This time I was just watching one.&nbsp;I and a friend went up to Merriville, IN to watch their semi-state.&nbsp;Which is supposed to be the toughest in the state, just repeating what I heard not trying to<img align="right" width="215" height="161" alt="" src="/blog/images/P1000144(1).JPG" /> start a debate.&nbsp;Overall I thought it was a pretty good tournament, I did not like the fact that the first two rounds of the tournament were one and done. But it&rsquo;s their tournament not mine so it is whatever.</div><div style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 10pt">The tournament did know how to do the finals right.&nbsp;Two mats side by side, on one mat was the finals on the other was the match for third and fourth.&nbsp;They were all spotlight matches which really added to the drama of the tournament.<img align="left" width="215" height="161" alt="" src="/blog/images/P1000155.JPG" /></div><div style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 10pt">Once I arrived back at Wabash College I got ready to host a prospective student for today&rsquo;s Top Ten Scholarship day.&nbsp;Even with three inches of snow the whole day went off without a hitch.&nbsp;To all of the prospective students on campus I hope you enjoyed your visit and the snow was not too big of a deal.&nbsp;Best of luck with your college decisions. maybe next year i will see some of you around campus.</div>]]>

Last week it was DUMPING snow in C-Ville.&nbsp;I&rsquo;ve never seen anything like it. And being from Cali I really didn&rsquo;t like it that much.&nbsp;When I came here I thought of snow as magical&mdash;you know like Christmas time magic&mdash;now I am not a fan of snow at all.&nbsp;Its really cold and it gets you wet, then it just sticks around for days after the storm has passed.&nbsp;I think another reason why I don&rsquo;t like the snow is because I had to push my friend&rsquo;s car out of his parking spot because he was blocked in y snow.&nbsp;It took literally ten minutes and I don&rsquo;t think my fingers have ever been so cold.&nbsp;I&rsquo;m really hoping that it warms up soon, but rumor has it that another snow storm is coming&hellip;Goodie :)</div>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;</p><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Now that second semester has started to get going I find that I can&rsquo;t get enough sleep.&nbsp;Today I woke up after getting eight hours of sleep and I still felt tired.&nbsp;Maybe it&rsquo;s the insane amount of reading I have to do for my classes.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Not to say that I don&rsquo;t like my classes, because I really do like them.&nbsp;It is just the amount of <img align="right" width="260" height="252" alt="" src="/blog/images/1893976_983_avatar(2).jpg" />work I have for those classes kill me sometimes.&nbsp;Its all helping me be a better writer and student though.&nbsp;For example yesterday one of my essays for my Creative Non-Fiction class was &ldquo;critiqued&rdquo; like no other.&nbsp;Granted I wrote the essay in an hour and a half because of a lack of time management.&nbsp;Still having your work torn up like that is hard to swallow.&nbsp;This picture is kinda what my professor&rsquo;s face said when we were going over my essay.&nbsp;Not the best day but hey, you live and you learn.&nbsp;Plus I hear handling criticism is a useful skill to have in the real world.&nbsp;</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On the wrestling side of things our team managed to place two of our wrestlers in the top eight at this past weekend&rsquo;s tournament.&nbsp;Seeing as how this was an extremely tough tournament there are some positives for us to build on.&nbsp;But it was far from an impressive showing overall as a team and the whole team&mdash;myself included&mdash;will be working hard preparing for the Conference Meet this weekend and the Regional Meet a few weeks away.</div>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;</p><div style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 10pt">This weather is bi-polar, one day its sunny and feeling like good old California now it is snowing and it feels about twenty degrees.&nbsp;Just when I thought I had made it through my first Indiana winter too.&nbsp;But besides the wacky weather my classes are starting to get into full swing.&nbsp;I think this semester two of my more interesting classes will be Philosophy 219 and English 216.&nbsp;</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; English 216 is a Shakespeare course and that&rsquo;s an area of literature that I have always found interesting.&nbsp;The way he tells a story while rhyming is really amazing and obviously timeless.&nbsp;As for my Philosophy class it looks really interesting mainly because it is completely discussion.&nbsp;The title of the course was Philosophy of Race and Gender.&nbsp;Generally a touchy subject but so far the class has been very engaging and informative.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Now I know I usually don&rsquo;t talk about wrestling much on this blog but today ill shake it up a bit.&nbsp;This past weekend we won the Monon Bell Duals, with a down to the wire match with University Wisconsin-Platteville.&nbsp;This coming weekend the varsity team will travel to the Wheaton Invite in Chicago, Illinois while the B-team will travel to North Central for their wrestling meet.&nbsp;All in all it will be a wrestling filled weekend.&nbsp;I will fill in all of you on Sunday, until then stay classy Wabash.</div>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;</p><div style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 10pt">Classes have started up again and it is a bit of a transition going from wrestling double days to five classes this semester.&nbsp;But on the upside all my classes seem cool; they also seem really hard though which gives me mixed feelings.&nbsp;They all seem very interesting but I can tell I will be pulling some all-nighters for these classes.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; But every cloud has a silver lining, my roommate Austin has managed to officially set up <img align="right" width="200" height="150" alt="" src="/blog/images/P1000143.JPG" />Xbox Live in our room.&nbsp;It&rsquo;s how college students relieve stress, and Call of Duty is sooo addicting.&nbsp;Plus playing Xbox it&rsquo;s a great way to kill a few hours, and it beats reading and writing essays.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Overall this semester looks to be a promising one.&nbsp;I&rsquo;ve got the first semester out of the way and now I can feel like I really belong at this college.&nbsp;Plus I&rsquo;ve gotten into the recruitment game; I recently hosted a prospective student from California (shout out to Brandon).&nbsp;Needless to say he loved the place and I think it&rsquo;s a safe bet that I will see him again during Honors Scholar Weekend.&nbsp;</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; As I take a quick survey around my room I notice how quickly a clean room can turn messy.&nbsp;Sorry mom, the little amount of neatness I had when I was at home is GONE.&nbsp;&nbsp; But in my defense, I have two roommates&hellip;just saying.&nbsp;Well it&rsquo;s about time for me to head off to my Philosophy 219 class; it&rsquo;s about Gender and Race relations.&nbsp;I can hardly wait.&nbsp;Until next time stay classy Wabash.</div>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;</p><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I&rsquo;m done with semester one!!</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Its an amazing feeling being done with classes, I can now sleep in till the late hours of the day and I get a whole month without school work, got to love winter break.&nbsp;As I look back on this semester I get a swelling sense of pride that I made it through the first semester of my freshman year.&nbsp;Because at times I highly doubted that I would make it through at all.&nbsp;From reading a hundred pages in one night to writing papers at two in the morning followed by seven am workouts for wrestling, this semester was a grind. <img align="left" width="150" height="200" alt="" src="/blog/images/P1000069(1).JPG" /></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; But you know what? I made it through.&nbsp;To those prospects reading this, if you decide to become a true Wabash man, you will be tested in nearly every way imaginable.&nbsp;But what separates us from the rest is that we (us Wabash men) will pass every test and come out of it stronger.&nbsp;The track team has this acronym that symbolizes the way I feel about semester one.&nbsp;</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 10pt 0.5in"><i>M.O.W.N.B.U.&nbsp;Men Of Wabash Nothing Breaks Us</i></div><div style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 10pt 0.5in">&nbsp;</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Whether you are on the track team or not, this is the mentality that Wabash instills in you.&nbsp;So when we go out into the &ldquo;real world&rdquo; we are armed to the teeth with mental toughness.&nbsp;There is a reason 1 out of 8 Wabash grads are a CEO&rsquo;s or President of their respected companies.&nbsp;Well my flight to Minneapolis is about to board so this California kid is finally homeward bound.&nbsp;</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Have a very Merry Christmas Wabash.&nbsp;And a very big and sincere thank you to those of you who still read my blog.&nbsp;Much love</div>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;</p><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Two thousand miles, thirteen papers, four months of practice and one very mangled ear later the California kid has completed his first semester of Wabash College.&nbsp;I&rsquo;m riding the wind and this feeling is so sweet, because I made it.&nbsp;I have made a very crucial step in my journey to becoming a Wabash man. &nbsp;I got through the first semester with most of my sanity and I&rsquo;m starting to take more pride in the red W.&nbsp;</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; When all the finals are said and done I will definitely be taking a much needed break from school.&nbsp;Sure I have to hang out at the Bash till the end of the week when my flight goes home but I will be using all of that to unwind and play video games.&nbsp;I can hardly wait :)</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Thankfully finals week means that the food at Sparks is unusually good and I can look forward to the Wabash &ldquo;Fun Run&rdquo; and &ldquo;Midnight Munch&rdquo;.&nbsp;I have no idea what the fun run is but I&rsquo;m going to be going to it tonight. As far as midnight munch goes that is when President White and the admissions staff makes the students breakfast at midnight.&nbsp;I think it&rsquo;s a pretty sweat deal; they make us the food, and serve us the food.&nbsp;How many schools have their president serving a meal to the student body?</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; After all those fun things are over and after the mad rush of finals has subsided I will hop on that plane, fly to California and enjoy a much needed break.&nbsp;To the class of 2013, we&rsquo;re one eighth of the way there :)</div>]]>

But I have to say that I think I have matured and grown up in a way that only a Wabash man could understand.&nbsp;From Sacramento, CA to Crawfordsville, IN it&rsquo;s been a crazy adventure.&nbsp;Has it always been fun? Not really.&nbsp;Has it been worth it? Yes.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I came here as a quiet withdrawn kid from California who didn&rsquo;t want summer to end.&nbsp;Today I&rsquo;m writing to you as a man who has created his own niche in one of the more prestigious schools in the nation.&nbsp;How did I do it? Who knows, but one thing is for sure it took copious amount of work.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Heads up to all the prospects, its one thing to get into Wabash&hellip;staying in Wabash is a completely different ball park.&nbsp;So when you get here be prepared to bust ass like never before.&nbsp;But before I scare you off, I will let you know that all the hard work is worth it.&nbsp;Because a diamond is a piece of coal that is hardened through enormous amounts of pressure; that&rsquo;s what you will be when you leave here, a diamond in the rough.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <span style="line-height: 115%; color: #003399; font-size: 9pt">&ldquo;<a href="http://thinkexist.com/quotation/the_only_real_failure_in_life_is_the_failure_to/12271.html"><span style="color: #003399; text-decoration: none; text-underline: none">The only real failure in life is the failure to try.</span></a>&rdquo;</span></div>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;</p><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; There is nothing dead about dead week, if anything I&rsquo;m busier now than at any other time during the semester.&nbsp;Papers, presentations and oral finals have me stressing.&nbsp;About the only thing keeping me going is the white board on my door&hellip;it reads &ldquo;Days till we home&rdquo; and the countdown is at ten days.&nbsp;I&rsquo;m not lying when I say that countdown is one of the reasons I still go to class.&nbsp;And nothing makes my day better than when I cross a day off that whiteboard.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; One of the fun parts of today was eating dinner at the Sig Chi house. I was supposed to interview two of their freshman divers and they were both nice enough to invite me over for dinner while we conducted the interview.&nbsp;Eating a meal at a frat is pretty cool, and the food was a nice change from the food at Sparks.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Well I have more papers and presentations to knock out so sorry this was a short blog, but I will post again soon.
