We're Off On The Road to Hiram

As Howard reminds me even as I'm typing this entry, it's been awhile since I've updated this blog. So what better way to catch up then take you along with us as we wheel our way across Ohio on our way to Hiram for Saturday's football game against the Terriers.

As is our normal pattern, this trip won't be just about football. How many of you can say you've toured a goat farm in Northeast Ohio and bought cheese both there and in Columbus? Not many, I'm guessing.

We're heading into the Cleveland area on a gray and rainy Friday afternoon. The weather, a great bit of traffic, and a fair mix of road construction on I-71 have made for another enjoyable cruise through the state. However, we have Maroon 5 on the stereo to keep the mood light (after listening to our new favorite Columbus radio station, Sunny 95 for much of the trip).

After we check in at the hotel in beautiful downtown Twinsburg we're off to dinner with Keri Luchowski and her husband, Paul. Our destination - Lola's in downtown Cleveland. The restaurant is owned by Michael Symon, winner of The Food Channel's "The Next Iron Chef." We'll give you a full report later this evening.

See, we're about so much more than just the game on these trips!
