Get the 411 with Google Voice Local Search

As at any college, each fall many new students, staff and faculty arrive at Wabash. For many, not only is Wabash new to them, but so is  Crawfordsville.

A new service from Google Labs, Google Voice Local Search, may help ease this transition.  This free experimental service lets you search for local businesses over the phone.

Using this service, you can search for a local business by name or category. For example, you can say "Johnny Provolone's" or just "pizza".  Once you find what you're looking for, Google will connect your call, free of charge.

To get started, dial 1-800-GOOG-411 from any phone, and follow the prompts.
